From Last Call to First Ideas

It was our last semester at the University of South Carolina. Our team was challenged to compete in the 2024 Young Ones One Show awards. So we landed on NotCo’s "Not Hangover" brief because we knew hangovers (so sorry mom).

Insight:

Hangovers hurt worse for those who have responsibilities the next day.

One wild story led to another until it hit us. The real horror of a night out isn’t the occasion, it’s the next morning. Because what makes a hangover even worse? Having real responsibilities.

We sent out a survey and found we weren’t alone in the struggle.

“I couldn’t go to my kid’s sporting event because I was so hungover”

“Once I had a horrible 6am flight out of Miami and I had to call out of an important meeting.”

“My only cure is to cancel all my plans, order McDonalds, and rot on the couch all day. ”
